The day 4 at Wheelchair Fencing sees the Team Men’s Sabre and the Team Women’s Foil.

The Team men’s Sabre competition can be very exciting for competitors and spectators alike. It has seen the participation of 8 Teams.

In the final the Ukrainians with Datsko – Demchuk – Tsedrik appeared to have enough class to beat the Hong Kong Team (Chan – Cheong – Leung – Tam) 45-35 taking the gold and Hong Kong had to be satisfied with the second place.

France (Noble – Cratere – Lemoine) were involved in a battle with Poland 45-35taking the bronze.

 

The Team women’s Foil competition has seen the participation of 7 Teams. It was a really exciting match that seen the dominance of the Asiatic Fencers.

Hong Kong showed again their dominance in Team Women’s foil competition with Chan – Fan – Ng – Yu overcome China with Rong – Bian – Wuyao winning by a four point margin 45-41.

The Hungarian Team (Krajnyak – Hajmasi – Dani – Juhasz) beat the Russian Team (Boykova – Chervyakova – Mishurova – Sycheva) 45-32 taking a bronze medal.
