Lambertini was triumphant in the men’s epee category A, taking his first individual gold medal at this level.
The Italian eased past Turkey’s Hakan Akkaya in the final, much to the delight of his watching teammates.
Lambertini’s teammate Matteo Dei Rossi joined him on the podium with bronze, alongside Great Britain’s Oliver Lam Watson.
Hong Kong’s Yu Chui Yee was back on top in the women’s epee category A, claiming her first individual epee gold since 2017.
Yee – a seven-time Paralympic champion in multiple weapons – specialises in the foil, and faced a tough fight against Great Britain’s Gemma Collis-McCann in the final.
Just two points separated the pair in the end, as Collis-McCann claimed her second consecutive podium finish in Pisa with silver.
Poland’s Kinga Drozdz also doubled-up from her gold in the sabre from Thursday to take bronze. Georgia’s Nino Tibilashvili secured her second medal with bronze.
The women’s sabre category B went to form as the highest ranked fencer in the competition, Georgia’s Irma Khetsuriani, topped the standings.
Khetsuriani overcame Italian Rosanna Pasquino. France’s Sophie Sablon and German Sylvi Tauber were the bronze medallists.
France’s Laurent Vadon was the victor in the men’s foil category B. Kuwait’s Sulaiman Ali was second. Poland’s Patryk Banach and Italy’s Michele Massa were third.
Saturday is the final day of individual events in Pisa as men’s sabre-ists and women’s foilists take to the piste.
