IWAS seeks Sports Co-ordinator

The International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) has launched a search for a Sports Co-ordinator to help grow the Federation.
The person, who will be based at the IWAS office in Aylesbury, Great Britain, full-time will also get the chance to work at competitions around the world.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational abilities and have a keen eye for detail. They will be friendly and able to communicate with people from different countries and cultures to ensure IWAS is represented well on the international stage.
Everyday tasks for the Sports Co-ordinator will include dealing with classification requests, updating systems, ensuring data protection and coordinating responses to questions and requests. They will also help to co-ordinate the competition calendar, distributing the annual call for bids, collating applications, monitoring invoicing and attending competitions.
The role also presents the opportunity to be directly involved with development. The recently appointed IWAS Wheelchair Fencing Development Officer requires support in delivering programmes and activities in countries which are building the sport.
