It is with great sadness that we were informed by our member nation in the Great Britain of the recent death of Wheelchair Fencer Ron Parkin.
Ron first competed in the Stoke Mandeville International Games in Israel, 1968 where he won silver and bronze. He went onto to improve his record by winning gold and silver fours years later in Germany. And continued to compete the Stoke Mandeville Games both in New Zealand (1974) and Canada (1976).
